Connect the Creek is a partnership formed in 2010 with the City of Greater Sudbury, Rainbow Routes Association, and the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee to complete the Junction Creek Waterway Park Trail along the creek.
The trail system serves as a unique corridor that connects the community to Junction Creek, promotes mental health and physical activity in a natural environment, and provides an accessible way for the people of Greater Sudbury to travel from one end of town to the other.
The trail system is currently more than 80% complete and is made up of the following sections:
- Kelly Lake Road to Martindale Road
- Martindale Road to Tom Davies Square
- Downtown to Flour Mill
- Rotary Park Trail
- Lasalle Boulevard to Maley Drive
Work on the trail system is ongoing and we hope to soon be able to offer an unbroken path across Greater Sudbury for the entire community to enjoy.
