Cost: Pay-what-you-can donations will be accepted at the event to support local bat monitoring and conservation programs

Join the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee’s research team to explore the world of bats! Learn about the species that live in our region, how scientists monitor bat populations, and what we can do to help protect them. The program will include a guided night walk (weather permitting) using bat detectors to spot these amazing nocturnal creatures. Please note: at this time of year, bats may already be entering hibernation, so sightings and detections are not guaranteed.

What to bring:
* Headlamp or flashlight with red light feature if possible (limited supply available to borrow)
* Dress for the weather
