 he fascinating world of local bats and uncover the hidden world of nocturn
 al wildlife. This family-friendly event is perfect for nature lovers and c
 urious minds of all ages.\n\n📅 Wednesday\, August 19th\n🕡 9:00 PM 
 – 10:30 PM\n📍 Garson Public Library (214 Orell St)\n💲 Cost: Pay-wh
 at-you-can donation to support local bat monitoring and conservation initi
 atives\n\nWe'll begin at dusk witha short introduction to the bat species 
 found in our region\, followed by a demonstration of acoustic bat detectio
 n technology. Then\, we'll head out on a guided walk to detect and identif
 y bats in real time using specialized acoustic monitoring equipment.\n\nBe
  sure to visit our Moth Discovery Station during the bat walk! We'll be sh
 ining a light on the incredible world of moths and other nocturnal insects
  with an illuminated moth sheet\, offering a unique opportunity to observe
  these important nighttime pollinators up close.\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n 	A 
 headlamp or flashlight (limited supply available to borrow)\n 	Dress for t
 he weather\n 	Bug protection is HIGHLY recommended (ex. bug net gear)\n\n&
