Help us bring new life to Junction Creek! By planti ng trees\, you’ll be restoring shoreline habitat\, creating healthier wa ters\, supporting local wildlife\, mitigating climate change\, building a more resilient community\, and making our trails more vibrant for everyone .\n\nOur community tree planting event is a celebration of collective acti on for a greener future. Each tree planted represents a step toward healin g our local ecosystems\, nurturing biodiversity\, and creating positive ch ange right here in our community. Together\, we’re turning hope into act ion!\n\nDate: Saturday October 17th\, 2026 (rain or shine)\nTime: 1-4 pm\n Location: Garson trails along Junction Creek by the Public Library (214 Or ell St)\n\nJoin us for a hands-on restoration day as we plant 150 native t rees and shrubs and remove invasive Phragmites along the headwaters of Jun ction Creek. Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are welcome\, an d community service hours are available for those who need them.
