SUMMARY:Water Stewardship Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The Water Stewardship Gathering is a place to gather and grow a
 s water stewards using an approach that braids community action\, Indigeno
 us Knowledge\, and western science. \n\nPurpose: To inspire and empower w
 ater stewardship by sharing knowledge\, resources\, stories\, and raising 
 awareness about water stewardship efforts\, research work\, and programs.
  \n\nEvent layout: A free\, public event with a series of outreach booths
  and speakers for attendees to learn about local waterways\, water program
 s and stewardship practices\, and make connections for collaborating\, sha
 ring stories\, and becoming better water stewards. \n\nWe would like to s
 tart the event in a good way and hold space for Traditional Ceremonies/Tea
 chings. The booths\, displays\, interactive activities\, and outreach mate
 rial will be set-up for the duration of the event and a designated time wi
 ll be set for speeches\, Teachings\, and presentations. \n\nGet involved!
  There are various opportunities to get involved and share your knowledge 
 and stories in a way that works best for you\, such as offering an informa
 tive display booth/poster\, presentation\, Traditional Teachings/Knowledge
  sharing\, outreach materials\, and/or facilitating in other ways. \n\nFil
