The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee’s Annual General Meeting is Wednesday May 22nd at 6pm followed by a special presentation by Franco Mariotti, “The Mayor’s 30×30 Panel and its Implications to the Future of Sudbury”. Everyone is welcome and can join either in-person (Living with Lakes Centre) or virtually via Zoom. Please register in advance so that we can confirm whether the in-person venue is necessary and to provide additional instructions. Registration link: REGISTER
What to expect
During the AGM, we will be providing an overview of JCSC’s 2023 programs, achievements, and financial report. We will also vote for a Dissolution Clause to be added to the JCSC By-Laws and will be holding elections for open Board of Director positions (which are 3-year terms) and the Officer positions (President, Secretary, Treasurer and optional Vice President which are all 1-year terms).

There are numerous opportunities to get involved with JCSC and contribute in a meaningful way, such as volunteering at activities, donating, joining a Working Group or Subcommittee, being an Advisor, or being part of our Board of Directors. JCSC welcomes and encourages diverse voices with a variety of knowledge, experience, and perspectives to support a shared vision for a healthy and revitalized Junction Creek ecosystem.
