Join us the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee for an exciting evening of bat discovery at our upcoming community bat walk and explore the fascinating world of bats! Learn about our local bat species, bat population monitoring, and how you can support local bat conservation efforts. This event will include a guided walk at night (weather permitting) using acoustic bat monitors to detect these amazing nocturnal creatures. This bat walk was kindly supported by Blackbird Studio Sudbury.
Please note seeing bats is not guaranteed!
What to bring:
* Headlamp or flashlight (limited supply available to borrow)
* Dress for the weather
* Bug protection is HIGHLY recommended (ex. bug net gear, bug spray)
