November 30th, 2021 was Giving Tuesday, a day for acts of kindness and for Canadians to give to the causes that mean the most to them.

This was the first year that the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee participated in the Giving Tuesday movement, and it did not disappoint, with over $1200 raised! We want to give a big thank you to everyone in the community for the support!

The funds raised will help provide the tools and resources needed to continue to strengthen our environmental stewardship programs, restoration efforts, and  education programs. Programs and events such as Empowering Youth for Junction Creek, Yellow Fish Road, community-led litter clean-ups, and tree plantings allow us to empower the next generation of youth, promote the value of Junction Creek and encourage long-term stewardship within the community.

Your contribution makes a big difference, and together we can have a lasting impact on the long-term restoration of the Junction Creek Watershed and the communities within Greater Sudbury.
