The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee is conducting an invasive species project this summer to help address erosion and biodiversity loss throughout the Junction Creek watershed. The project includes invasive species surveys, management, community events and stewardship activities.

Are you a teen interested in learning about Junction Creek and the environment in your neighbourhood, while making positive impact in your community? We are excited to announce the return of a FREE Empowering Youth for Junction Creek program led by youth for youth!  

With support from the City of Greater Sudbury Lake Stewardship Grant Program, the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee and Nepahwin Lake Watershed Stewardship Group collaborated with Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School grade 11 students from the Environmental Sciences class, to raise awareness about storm water and the impact of pollution in our local watershed.
